WARSAW -- Winnie Elizabeth Dixon, 87, of 546 W. College St., died Friday at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. She is the daughter of the late George and Minnie Dixon.
One child survives.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday at New Bethel A.M.E. Church, Magnolia, with the Rev. Dr. Johnnie Richardson Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Devotional Gardens. Viewing will be 4-8 p.m. today at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Olive and at the church, one hour prior to the funeral on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to charitable causes.
