Fredrick Maurice Stevens, 37, died Monday at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born in Johnston County to Helen Stevens and the late Everrette Stevens.
He is survived by his mother, Helen Stevens of Goldsboro, and four children.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. Minister Stevie Prince will officiate. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park North. The family will be receiving friends at the home of his mother, 301 Hollowell St., Goldsboro.
