JACK R. HOWELL

Jack Robert Howell, 63, passed away Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. He is the son of the late Robert C. and Ruth Horne Howell and widower of the late Virginia T. Howell. Mr. Howell was a retired machine operator with Firestone.
Funeral services will be held Friday at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home at 11 a.m., with the Rev. David Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at the Howell Family Cemetery.
Mr. Howell is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Bannorra and friend, Howard Davis; sisters, Annette Mitchell, Joyce Woerner and husband, Norman, all of Goldsboro; and grandchildren, Amber Bannorra and Staci Tucker, both of Goldsboro.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Howell was preceded in death by a son, Jack C. Howell; and a brother, George Thomas Howell.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
