PASTOR THEODORE E. DECKER

PIKEVILLE -- Pastor Theodore Edwin Decker, 65, of 102 Stone Cutter Drive, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. The Rev. Decker was born in Ticonderoga, N.Y., to the late Robert Louis Decker and Doris Louise Bentley Decker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. The Rev. Decker is pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Enfield.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Harper, Elder John Hess and the Rev. Charles Elvis officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Pastor Decker is survived by his wife, Beverly Willey Decker; his sons, Arthur N. Decker and wife, Marcella, of Pensacola, Fla., and Robert M. Decker and wife, Jamie, of Smyrna, Tenn.; his half brother, Robert L. Decker II of Pleasant Gardens; and his grandchildren, Nathan Decker, Matthew Decker, Jonathan Decker, Merlyna Decker, Myleah Decker and Joshua Decker.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
