WILLIAM M. TALTON
William Milas Talton, 49, of 305 Woodview Dr., died Friday. A native of Wayne County, he was the son of Needham Preston Talton of Goldsboro and the late Otena Quinn Talton. He was a roofer with Wayne Roofing.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Wayne Memorial Park, with Rev. Willard Hardison officiating.
Surviving, in addition to his father, is a sister, Joan Osborne and husband, Joe, of Canal Winchester, Ohio ; brother, Roger Talton and wife, Julie, of LaGrange; and step-sister, Carol Bass of Princeton.
Mr. Talton is also survived by two half-brothers, James and Hardy Quinn; one half-sister, Mattie Quinn; nieces and nephews, Michael Osborne, Shana Osborne, Rusty Wiggins, Becky Tyndall and Lynn Smith; eight great-nieces; four great-nephews; and his special friends, Debbie and Miranda Hill.
Mr. Talton was preceded in death in addition to his mother by his stepmother, Georgia Ann Johnson Talton and stepsister, Betty Wiggins.
The family will receive friends today from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
