ANNIE R. BISHOP

Annie R. McDuffie Bishop was born in Goldsboro, N.C., on Aug. 3, 1930, to the late Mim and Vancie J. McDuffie. She was the sixth of 10 children. She was a member of the New Stoney Hill United Holy Church in Goldsboro. On Oct. 22, 2007, our heavenly Father in his infinitely wisdom choose to call Annie home. She leaves to cherish one brother, Robert L. McDuffie of Philadelphia, Pa.; two sisters, Emma Jean Thompson of Goldsboro, N.C. and Nina Mae Durham of New York; nine children, Margorie Bishop Bivens of Virginia, Charmane Bishop of Philadelphia, Leah Bishop Baldwin of New Jersey, Maurice and Dwight Bishop of Goldsboro, N.C., Daniel, Joseph, Levin Bishop of Philadelphia, Pa. and Nina Bishop Bryant of Virginia; over 100 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, at 3 p.m. at New Stoney Hill United Holy Church of Goldsboro with officiating pastor Elder H.E. Mc Nair.
