HUEY PRICE GREENE

Huey P. Greene, 76, died Saturday morning at his residence. He was born in Jonesville, La., to the late William F. and Ettice Elois Greene and was married to the late Mary Frances Greene. Mr. Greene was the owner and operator of Quality Appliance and Service Center, was the past president of the Refrigerator Service Engineers Society, as well as a past Boy Scout leader.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
He is survived by a son, Steven Price Greene and wife, Dianne, of Goldsboro; two stepsons, William Duward McDaniel and wife, Madeline, of Melbourne, Fla., and Robert Frank McDaniel and wife, Rita, of Dayton, Ohio; two brothers, Richard R. Greene and wife, Marie, of Pensacola, Fla., and Jack A. Greene and wife, Nancy, of Bay City, Fla.; a sister, Patricia Ann Vickers of Biloxi, Miss.; two grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Boy Scouts of America.
The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. and at other times at the home.
