Sadie Cotton Price, 79, died Friday. She was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Addie Tadlock Cotton and widow of the late Lincoln Price. Funeral will be at 6 p.m. today in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home with the Rev. Lamar Jackson officiating. Committal will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Calypso Cemetery.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Albert Ray and Lillian Price of New Carlisle, Ohio; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Kay and Herman Sullivan, Pattie and Cecil Brock of Mount Olive and Wanda Dean and Carl Strickland of Seven Springs; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Marvin and Sadie Cotton of Calypso and William Henry and Diana Cotton of Richlands; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She is also predeceased by a brother, John Tom Cotton.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times they will be at Mrs. Price's home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, c/o Stephanie McPhail, 213 Wingspread Drive, Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.
