PRINCETON -- Sara Elizabeth "Lizzie" Wilkins Evans, 96, died Monday morning. Born in Johnston County to the late John Aaron and Kansas Rose Wilkins, she was the widow of Walter Clifton Evans.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednes-day in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Dwight Dunning officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Bizzell Grove Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are her daughters, Faye E. Kittrell and husband, Bruce, of Wilson, Carol Cuddington and husband, Donald, of Goldsboro and Margie Rowe and husband, Jimmie, of Ahoskie; sons, Hugh Kendall Evans and wife, Jackie, of Oriental and Maurice Clifton Evans and wife, Pat, of Youngsville; five grandchildren, Sherrill Creech, Donnie Cuddington, Clifton Cuddington, Jamie Rowe and Natalie Warner; and six great-grandchildren.
Flowers are acceptable or memorials may be made to Bizzell Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church, 4700 Bizzell Grove Church Road, Princeton, N.C. 27569.
