VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- Marie Dixon Gray, 80, passed away Sunday at her home. She was predeceased by her husband, James O. Gray and a son, Matthew Gray.
She is survived by three children, Jimmy Gray, Marsha Ratcliff and Joyce Silver, all of Virginia; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Louise Ginn Edwards of Pikeville and Melba Parker of Tarboro.
The family will receive friends at the Taylor-Tyson Funeral Home, 117 NW Third St., Snow Hill, N.C. 28580 on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007 from 7 to 9 p.m. A graveside service will be held in the Snow Hill Cemetery Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007 at 11 a.m.
