HARRY T. HOWARD
Harry T. Howard, better known as "Butch," 63, 1405 Poplar St., Apt. 14, was born to Nathaniel and Bertie Howard on Feb. 14, 1944. He departed this life on Sept. 13, 2007.
He was a member of the Philadelphia Community Church, Goldsboro, N.C., under the leadership of pastor Rodger Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Delphine Jackson Howard and two brothers, William Earl "Mike" Howard and Lee Milton "Snook" Howard.
He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Nathaniel and Bertie Mae Howard of Goldsboro, N.C.; two sisters, Janice Whitfield, Alberta Smith and husband, Donald, all of Goldsboro, N.C.; one brother; Dennis Howard and wife, Emily, of Kentucky; one stepdaughter, Ursula "Fluff" Carson; five sons, Tracy, Morris, Frederick, Anthony, Harry Jr.; three daughters, JoAnne, Vanessa Faye, and Yolanda, all of Chicago, Ill.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing and memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., Goldsboro, N.C. with Rodger Taylor, pastor of Philadelphia Community Church of Goldsboro presiding. The viewing will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. and the memorial service from 6 to 7 p.m. A repast will also be held Wednesday evening, Sept. 19, 2007 at the Guiding Star Holy Church, 1114 S. Slocumb St., Goldsboro, N.C.
