PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Frances Styron Adams, 84, died Wednesday in Phoenix, Ariz. She was born and raised in Goldsboro, the daughter of the late George Frank and Myrtle Waters Styron. She graduated from Duke University and married Lloyd L. Adams Jr. of Portsmouth, Va. She is survived by four children; four grandchildren; and her brother, George Frank Styron Jr. of Cary.
