Virginia Worley Temple, 84, of 228 Coral Road in Sleepy Creek, died Friday at Britthaven of Goldsboro. Born in Mecklenburg County, she was the daughter of the late C. Edward and Jean Austin Worley and wife of the late Earl Temple. A 1940 graduate of Goldsboro High School, she was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Private family services will be held at the home.
Mrs. Temple is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank W. and Connie Brown IV of Dudley, Paul Worley and Diane Brown of Goldsboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Jean B. and John C. Jensen of Amhurst, Va.; five grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
