AGATHA H. JONES

On Friday, July 27, 2007 Agatha Hinson Jones went home to be with her loving savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Formerly of Goldsboro, Mrs. Jones died at Britthaven of Newport.
Agatha was born in Wayne County on December 5, 1927 and was married to the late William Lloyd Jones. She was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Jones Hinson Davis, her stepfather, William Russell Davis, and her father, Ed Berry Hinson. Agatha was a member of Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church and was retired from General Electric of Goldsboro. She had also worked at Wal-Mart until her health declined.
Funeral will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Woods Grove P.F.W.B. Church with the Rev. Mike Grady officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 4-6 p.m. Interment will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah De'Anne J. and Joseph Gibson of Newport; her grandchildren and grandchild-in-law, Bradford Leland and Deborah Gibson of Cary, and Sabra De'Anne Le May of Newport; three great-grandchildren, Jordan Austin, Cierra De'Anne and Kayla Brooke Le May; brother and sister-in-law, Billy Ray and Marie Hinson Goldsboro. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews-in-law, Sherry H. and Craig Myers of Wilson, Samone H. and Glenn Lancaster of Stantonsburg; three great-nephews and one great-niece; special cousins and cousin-in-law Anne Jones Gurley and Jesse Ray, and their daughter Katrina of Goldsboro.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Al Wesley "Bozo" Hinson.
Flowers are welcome, though memorials may be made to Wood's Grove P.F.W.B. Church, 4009 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Goldsboro.
