DUDLEY -- Arthur Bowden Jr., 75, passed away Tuesday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. He was born to the late Arthur Bowden Sr. and Martha Grantham Bowden.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, July 28, 2007, at First African Baptist Church, Goldsboro, N.C., eulogized by the Rev. Arnold Coley. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park, Goldsboro, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Angelene Musgrave Bowden of the home; two sons, Arnold Coley and wife, Janice, of Fayetteville, N.C. and Rohn Bowden and wife, Sheila, of Greensboro, N.C.; two daughters, Katrice Bowden Perry and husband, Christopher, of Greensboro, N.C. and Tammy Bowden of Greensboro, N.C.; five grandchildren, Patrick Coley of Fayetteville, N.C., Darien and Dieon Payne of Greensboro, N.C., India and Gavin Bowden of Greensboro, N.C.; one sister, Elouise Artis Dudley of Mount Olive, N.C.; one brother, William Bowden of Washington, D.C.; and a host of other relatives.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Mount Olive, N.C.
Garris Funeral Home is serving the Bowden family.
