FRANCES E. SMITH

Miss Frances Elizabeth Smith, 67, of 4372 U.S. Hwy. 13 North, died Tuesday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Miss Smith was born in Wayne County to the late Rupert Smith and Mildred Smith.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Grady officiating.
Miss Smith is survived by her brother, Derald Smith and wife, June, of Goldsboro; her nephews, Robert Smith of Goldsboro, Brian Smith of Philadelphia, Penn., and Chris Waller of Wilmington; her aunt, Bertha Stroud of Pikeville and her uncle, James "Buddy" Smith of LaGrange.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, 309 W. Millbrook Road, Raleigh, N.C. 27609.
The family will receive friends at the home of Derald and June Smith, 4372 U.S. Hwy. 13 North, Goldsboro, N.C.
