PRINCETON -- Robert Lee Parnell, 65, died Monday at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Born in Johnston County, he was the son of the late Kagie and Carrie Parnell.
Funeral will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home of Goldsboro with Margaret Britt officiating. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Hasting Cemetery in the Oakland Community. Visitation will follow the funeral service on Wednesday and at other times at the home of his sister, Frances Woodard, 305 Graves St., Selma.
