MOUNT OLIVE -- Fay B. Thies, 70, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. She was born in Sampson County to the late Julius Craven and Rachel Idell McCullen Best.
Two children survive.
Memorial service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home of Goldsboro with visitation following.
