Alice Faye Jones Hare, 64, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Hare was born in Sampson County to the late Luther Henry Jones and Alice Denning Jones. She was a retired seamstress.
Funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Allen Stocks officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
She is survived by her husband, Johnie Mack Hare; her stepson, Leonard Hare of Goldsboro; her sisters, Virginia Butler, Belinda Lee and Prudence Autry Maynard, all of Dunn; two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hare was preceded in death by her sister, Llewelyn Lee, and her brother, Luther Shelton "Tom" Jones.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930 B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C. 27834.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her home, 129 Betty Drive, Goldsboro.
