NADINE H. CRUMPLER

Nadine Harrell Crumpler, 73, went to be with her Lord Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
A native of Greene County, she was born the daughter of the late Lester and Gatha Manning Harrell. A person of strong Christian faith, Mrs. Crumpler was a charter member of the Church on the Rock where she faithfully attended and was very active in the church's ministries and activities until her health limited her involvement.
Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at the Church on the Rock, 133 Hill Loop Road, Goldsboro, N.C. Pastor Joy Howell and Assistant Pastor David Walston will officiate. Committal services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at the Snow Hill Cemetery.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crumpler was preceded in death by her husbands, Noah Ham "Bud" Phipps, Linwood Stancil and James A. "Crump" Crumpler.
Her surviving family includes her daughters, Vickie Phipps Tripplett and husband, Johnny, of Goldsboro and Debra Phipps Wooten and husband, Danny Joe, of Macclesfield; grandchildren, Charissa Tripplett Pollock and husband, David, Brandi Tripplett Strickland and husband, Bret, all of Goldsboro, Kayla Ashley Harrell and fiancée, Allen Harrell, Kenneth Wooten and wife, April, Heath Wooten and wife, Nikki, and Don Wooten and fiancée, Stephanie, all of Macclesfield; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Pollock, Logan Pollock, Brooklynn Pollock and Kyler Wooten; sisters, Irene H. Sauls of Goldsboro and Nellie H. Darby of Snow Hill; brothers, Linwood "Bones" Harrell of Snow Hill and John Harrell of Wilson; and a special friend and caregiver, Angela Taylor of Dudley.
The family will receive friends on Saturday immediately following the service and other times at her residence. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, P.O. Box 88, Goldsboro, N.C. 27533.
