Lurine Shepard, 75, 200 Bright St., died Monday at her residence.
She was a native of Wayne County and employed at Wayne Memorial Hospital and Penny Cleaners. Mrs. Shepard was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Teney Carroway.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Augusta Chapel Church, Durham Lake Road, Dudley, with Minister Chester McClarin officiating. Burial will follow in the Augusta Chapel Church Cemetery.
She is survived by a son, Michael Shepard of Goldsboro; one daughter, Barbara Flowers of Dudley; two sisters, Queen Esther Worrells and Elenor Edmundson, both of Goldsboro; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be 2-6 p.m. Friday at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro.
