FREMONT - Allen R. Morris, 61, died Tuesday. He was preceded in death by his father, Elwood Morris.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Elmwood Cemetery, with the Rev. H. Powell Dew Jr. officiating.
Allen is survived by his wife, Jenny Wiggs Morris; daughter, Sarah Beth Morris of Winterville; son, Jeff Morris and his wife, Sarah, of Newport; grandchildren, Blythe Elizabeth and Braxton James Morris of Newport; mother and stepfather, Sara "Dollie" Whitford Bunting and Leonard Bunting of Scotland Neck.
The family will be at Fremont Missionary Baptist Church fellowship hall immediately after the funeral and other times at 130 Dogwood Hill Lane.
