JESSE EARL CREECH

Jesse Earl Creech, 76, of 1809 Selah Church Road, Four Oaks, died Friday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was born to the late James Robert and Fannie Lamb Creech. He was a retired farmer and also sold subscriptions for the Smithfield Herald for 20 years. The service will be conducted at 5 p.m. today at the Casey Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating.
The committal service will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Creech Family Cemetery near Pine Level.
He is survived by his wife, Betty King Creech; sons, Curtis Creech and David Creech, both of Four Oaks; a daughter, Janice Creech Hughes and fiancé, Mike Yancey of Mount Olive; a brother, Marvin Creech of Grantham; and a grandson, Michael Ryan Yancey.
The family will receive friends at 4 p.m. today and immediately following the funeral service.
