J.B. TILLMAN

PIKEVILLE -- J.B. Tillman, 44, 239 Buggy Lane, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Tillman was born in Wayne County to Doris Turner Tillman and the late Bunny Lloyd Tillman. He worked with the family business, Tillman Trucking and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Duane Rush officiating. Burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Donna K. Tillman; stepdaughter, Katie Stilley of the home; brother, Arnold Tillman of Pikeville; sisters, JoAnn T. Williams and husband, Glenn, of Kinston and Margaret T. Melrose and husband, Bobby, of Pikeville; special brother and friend, Kenneth Kornegay of Pikeville; and several nieces, and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at his home.
