PRINCETON -- Margaret Lee Starling Braswell, 80, died Wednesday at Smithfield Manor. Born in Johnston County, she was a daughter of the late Milford and Alma Hinnant Starling and was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland O. Braswell, and brothers, A. B., Bobby and Durwood Starling. She was a member of Bizzell Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church and was retired from the Eaton Corporation, Selma.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Bizzell Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Revs. Marcus Riggs and Dwight Dunning officiating. Burial will follow in Bizzell Grove Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane Allen and Carol Butts, both of Princeton; brothers, Avery Starling of West Jefferson and Worth Starling of Wilson; sisters, Agnes Bizzell of Four Oaks and Marie Spivey of Princeton; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
