Funeral services for Minister Annie Jane Gorham, 70, 907 Fourth St., who died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Parkers Chapel Church with pastor Verna Tate officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. She was born to the late Jerry Gardner and Lettice Johnson in Pitt County and was the wife of the late Lee Ernest Gorham Sr.
She is survived by five daughters, Annie Lee Forrest, Gloria Harbin, Mary Lou Gorham, Mary Ann Pridgen, Barbara Coley Worthington, all of Goldsboro; son, Lee Ernest Gorham Jr. of Goldsboro; sisters, Bettie Dixon and Dora Meeks, both of Snow Hill, Doris Edwards of Goldsboro; brothers, Minister Jerry Gardner of Snow Hill, Columbus Gardner of Rocky Mount; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
