Mary Frances Lowder Wells, 62, 100 Coburn Drive, died Saturday at her home.
Mrs. Wells was born in Duplin County to the late Grady Lee Lowder and Dorothy Westbrook Higdon. She was real estate broker for the family business, Southside Realty. Mrs. Wells was the former owner and operator of several daycares in Goldsboro.
Graveside service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Dann Patrick officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Wells; sons, Scott A. Wells and wife, Belva, of Goldsboro and Brent Wells of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Allison, Cullen and Russell Wells; sister, Virginia Herring of Goldsboro; brother, Grady Lee Lowder Jr. of New Bern; and several nieces, nephews and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the 3HC Wish Foundation for Children, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
Family will receive friends Tuesday following the graveside service.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
