GILBERT H. CUTLIP SR.

Gilbert Hudson Cutlip Sr., 68, of 547 Pineview Cemetery Road, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in Grassy Meadows, W.Va., he was the son of the late Henry Hudson and Annie Butler Cutlip and the husband of the late Linda Starnes Cutlip.
A farmer, he was also retired from Carolina Turkeys.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery near Seven Springs.
He is survived by two sons, Gilbert H. Cutlip Jr. of Pikeville, Ricky A. Cutlip of Goldsboro; one daughter, Dorothy Ann Cutlip of Mount Olive; a brother, Carl Cutlip of Alderson, W.Va.; four sisters, Jewel Shea and Wanda Trout, both of Baltimore, Lorraine Cobb of Chilhowie, Va., and Ruby Fitzwater of Smoot, W.Va.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his son, Ricky A. Cutlip, 357 Hwy. 111 S., Goldsboro.
