EMMA LEE SIMMONS

Emma Lee Simmons, 87, 806 Harris St., died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was born in Johnston County to the late Frank and Carrie Jones.
She was married to the late Toney Lee Simmons.
Services will be noon Monday at St. Mark Church of Christ, 700 W. Ash St., with Elder Anthony Terrell officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by daughters, Ora Simmons-Davis, of the home, and Bonnie Wooten and Lillie Kennon-Barnett, both of Goldsboro; two sons, James F. Simmons and Leeree Simmons, both of Goldsboro; three sisters, Eldress Gladys Lewis, Nannie Best and Shirley Daniels, all of Goldsboro.
A wake will be today from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Holly Hill Disciples of Christ Church, 644 N. Beston Road, LaGrange. The family will be present to receive other family members and friends.
