Norris Wilcox, 66, 917 N. Center St., died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Jacksonville, Fla., and was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Sylvia Hester Wilcox.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at McIntyre Funeral Home Chapel, 900 S. George St., with the Rev. Levy Wilcox Sr. of Love Missionary Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Fla., officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel Darden; sons, Norris Wilcox Jr. and Jerome Wilcox, both of New Jersey, Douglas Wilcox of Nevada, Nathaniel Wilcox of North Carolina; daughters, Deborah of New Jersey, Stephanie and Bertha, both of North Carolina; brothers, Levy Wilcox Sr. and Andre Wilcox, both of Florida, Edwin Wilcox of New Jersey, Danny and Bobby Wilcox; sisters, Lenita James and Melanease Wilcox, both of Florida; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be Friday at McIntyre Funeral Home from 2 to 6 p.m.
