Marvin Worrells, 64, died Sunday at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation of Mount Olive.
Services will be held at noon Monday at Deeper Life Church Ministries, 900 11th St., Goldsboro, with Apostle Norbert Simmons officiating. Burial will be in the Old Mill Cemetery.
Mr. Worrells was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel B. Rogers and Kennon Worrells. He was retired from employment with the state of North Carolina after 30 years of service.
Viewing will be held today at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 South George Street, Goldsboro from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Among his survivors are his wife, Evangelist Vera M. Worrells of the home; two sons, William Worrells of Goldsboro and Dewayne Worrells of Raleigh; two daughters, Susie Worrells and Venitta Worrells, both of Baltimore, Md.; and a grandchild.
