Willie Butler Jr., 62, of 10190 Minnie Hall Road in Salemburg died Wednesday at the V.A. Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Services were held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Beaver Dam Missionary Baptist Church in Clinton, with Elder Chester Richardson officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
He is survived by a son, Sean Carolina of Schenectady, N.Y.; 12 sisters, Thelma Best of Goldsboro, Alma Butler of New Haven Conn., Mary Sweatt of Salemburg, Dixie Payton of Greenville, Rochelle Stuart of Salemburg, Willa Brown of Columbus, Ohio, Annette Butler of New Haven, Conn., Brenda Butler of Orlando Fla., Virginia Scott of West Haven, Conn., Patricia Davis of New Haven, Conn., Iris Butler of West Haven, Conn., and Betty Butler of New Haven, Conn.; and two brothers, James Butler of Columbus, Ohio, and Charlie Butler of Salemburg.
