Pearlie Mae Campbell Barnes, 78, of 901 Silver Ave., Geensboro, died Tuesday at the Britthaven of Guilford in Greensboro.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 726 Tarboro St. SW, Wilson. The Rev. Willie T. Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane St. extension.
She is survived by son, David Barnes of Greensboro; three daughters, Sharon Barnes Moore of Wilson, Deborah Barnes Richardson of Greensboro, and Tonie Evans of Washington; two sisters Daisy C. Coley, of Goldsboro, Izzy Mae Cowdery of Raleigh; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
A viewing will take place at 1 p.m. this afternoon at Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Wilson. The family will assemble at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
