MIAMI, Fla. -- McKeithan Southerland, 52, formerly of Magnolia, died Frida y in Miami. He is the son of the late Astor and the late Rebecca Merritt Southerland, Highway 903, Magnolia. He graduated from James Kenan High School and furthered his studies at UNC Chapel Hill.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Little Mission Cemetery, Magnolia.
Survivors include his two sisters; Helen Rogers of Magnolia and Shirley Jacobs of Goldsboro; two brothers, Robert Southerland of Upper Marboro, Md., and Theodore Southerland of Temple Hill, Md.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, other times, at the home of his sister, Helen Rogers, 308 West Carroll Street, Magnolia.
