ANGIER -- Hilda Langdon McGee Carter, 66, 521 Langdon Road, died Wednesday at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital, Dunn. She was born in Johnston County to the late James Vernon and Edna Penny Langdon. Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Carter and a sister, Ruth Langdon. She was a homemaker and member of Benson Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Benson Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Cashwell and the Rev. C.H.Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Rickey Ray and Randy Lee McGee, both of Angier, James Danny McGee of Goldsboro and Marty McGee of Dunn; sister, Debbie Langdon Honeycutt of Angier; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Rose and Graham Funeral Home, Benson.
