FREMONT -- Sue Forte Reid, 77, 404 S. Pine St., died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was born to the late William Coley and Ethel Whitley Forte.
Funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Greater Morning Star Church, 705 S. Sycamore St., Fremont, with the Rev. J. C. Sherrod officiating. Burial will follow in the Coley Family Cemetery, Pikeville.
She is survived by her husband of the home, Charles B. Reid; three daughters, Margie Lewis of Fremont, Linda Watson of Selma and Cynthia Bass of Goldsboro; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Carol Forte and Charles Lamont Reid Jr. and a brother, Bruce Hobbs.
Viewing will be today from 1 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, Goldsboro.
