FAISON -- Funeral services for Abraham Hicks, 66, 2494 E. Darden Road, will be Friday at 2 p.m. from the Macedonia Holy Church with Elder Swindell Best officiating. Burial will follow in the Hicks Cemetery.
Mr. Hicks died Saturday at Mary Gran Nursing Center, Clinton. He is the son of the late William and Mary Glaspie Hicks.
He is survived by one brother, Matthew Hicks of the home; six sisters, Margaret Hicks of the home, Essie Pearl Brown and Verlestine Hicks of Warsaw, Katha Mae Harper of Calypso, Loeretha Leach and Sallie Ann Leach of Faison.
Viewing will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Garris Funeral Home Chapel, Mount Olive.
