MABLE L. FOREHAND
Died Dec. 28, 2006
MARSHALLBERG -- Mable L. Forehand, 91, died Thursday at her residence.
She and her husband were former residents of Miami, Fla., where she was active in Wesley Methodist Church, having taught Sunday School for more than 20 years and serving as worship leader for the Ladies' Circle.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Marshallberg, with the Rev. Ellis Bedsworth officiating. Burial will follow at Victoria Cemetery in Marshallberg.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Jasper W. Forehand; sons, Jasper L. Forehand and wife, Linda, and Gary A. Forehand and wife, Deborra, all of Marshallberg; sister, Doris Merrell of Marshallberg; and five grandchildren, Cheryl L. Lockwood of Marshallberg, Lori K. Boorse of Smyrna, Catherine I. Deegan of Morehead City, Daniel L. Forehand of Marshallberg and Eduard A. Forehand of Dayton, Ohio; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous close relatives in the Down East Community.
The family will receive friends 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the church.
Arrangements are by Munden Funeral Home, Morehead City.
