GERALDINE B. GARDNER

Geraldine Burns Gardner, 76, formerly of Fayetteville, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Gardner was born in Lee County to the late Clifford Allen Burns and Lottie May Pardue Burns. She was a retired motel owner and operator.
Graveside services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Sanford with the Rev. Samuel Weaver officiating.
She is survived by her sons, Wayne Gardner and wife, Debbie, of Raeford, William Gardner and wife, Rita, of Red Springs, and Bruce Gardner and wife, Wanda, of Goldsboro; her daughter, Peggy Rose of Goldsboro; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by special friends, Joyce O'Handly and Anita Hall Parker.
The family will receive friends at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Wanda Gardner, 123 Cambridge Drive, Goldsboro.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
