HAROLD PRECYTHE

Harold Nelson Precythe, 52, of 186 Virginia Johnson Road, died Friday at home.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2 at the Faison Methodist Church. Entombment will follow at the Faison Cemetery.
Mr. Precythe, a native of Duplin County, was the son of the late Harold S. Precythe and Lois Williamson Precythe. He attended Chowan College in Murfreesboro and Mount Olive College, where he played on the golf and basketball teams. He was a member of the Faison Methodist Church and played organ and piano there for 25 years. He also worked as a sales representative for Southern Produce.
He is survived by two daughters, Emily and Erin Precythe, of Calypso; a brother, D. Steward Precythe, of Faison; a nephew, Kelley Precythe, of Faison; his wife, Laverne Walston Precythe; and his mother-in-law, Norma Jean Walston of Calypso.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Saturday at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home in Clinton, and at other times at the home of his brother, 173 Park Circle Road in Faison, and also at 110 Virginia Johnson Road, Calypso.
