Rachael Denise Rogers and Zachary Lee Fuller exchanged vows in a double ring ceremony Oct. 17, 2014, at the Pavilions at the Angus Barn in Raleigh, with Dr. David J. Hailey officiating.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at the Pavilions.
The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Donna Rogers of Raleigh and granddaughter of Betty Parker and the late Billy R. Parker of Garner and the late Richard and Ann Rogers of Raleigh.
The groom is the son of Robert E. Fuller Jr. of Goldsboro and Betty Johnson and husband, Alan Johnson, of Goldsboro. He is the grandson of the late Johnson and Otha Draughon of Dunn and the late Robert and Ethel Fuller of Goldsboro.
Sister of the bride, Renee Rogers of Raleigh, served as maid of honor.
Bridal attendants included cousins of the bride, Melissa Kragel and Maria Keever of Raleigh, and friends of the bride, Augusta Carroll, Leslie Larson and Jessica Pyjas of Raleigh.
Best man was stepbrother of the groom, Matthew B. Johnson of Greenville, N.C.
Additional groomsmen were cousin of the groom, Cameron Lane of Alexandria, Va., and friends of the groom, Justin Edwards of Greenville, N.C., Matthew Johnson of Franklin, Va., Michael Miller of Bozeman, Mont., and Robert Naylor of Fayetteville, N.C.
The groom’s nephew and niece, Gunnar Johnson and Kenly Johnson, served as ringbearer and flower girl.
Ceremony readers were the groom’s father, Robert E. Fuller Jr., and friend of the bride and groom, Anna Leivers.
Wedding music was provided by Elegant Ensembles.
The bride wore a satin A-line gown with a cummerbund sash with box pleats on the skirt and a semi-cathedral train adorned with satin covered buttons and crystals.
She accessorized her bridal look with a sheer, re-embroidered lace jacket with a high collar and short sleeves adorned with crystal beading and sequins, buttoning in the back. In her hair, she wore a two-tiered fingertip veil trimmed in lightweight organza.
The bridesmaids complemented the bride in A-line strapless sweetheart gowns made of rich royal blue taffeta.
The mothers of the bride and groom also chose rich taffeta gowns in plum and charcoal grey.
Events held before the wedding included an engagement party hosted by the bride’s parents at their home; a dinner hosted by the groom’s family and friends at Walnut Creek Country Club in Goldsboro; a bridal shower hosted by the Betty Johnson, Jennifer Johnson and Carol Stanley; a tea hosted by the maid of honor and bridesmaids; a dinner hosted by the groom’s father at the Country Squire Restaurant; and a bridal shower hosted by friends of the bride, Mary Keto and Stefanie Peterson.
A bridesmaids’ luncheon was hosted at Relish Café, and the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Casa Carbone the eve of the wedding.
The bride graduated from North Carolina State University and Campbell University School of Law.
The groom graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in civil engineering.
Both the bride and groom are employed in Raleigh, N.C.
After a honeymoon trip to Italy, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
