Giddens-Howell
Sarah Thomas Giddens and Garrett Franklin Howell exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 21, 2014, at 5 o’clock in the afternoon at First Baptist Church in Goldsboro, N.C., with the Rev. Vann Spivey officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Pam Giddens of Newton Grove, the granddaughter of the late Thomas and Julia Britt, the stepgranddaughter of Frances Raines of Princeton and the granddaughter of Myrtle Giddens of Clinton and the late Dewey Giddens.
The groom is the son of Lynette and Frank Howell of Goldsboro and the grandson of Stanley and Lynn Hartley of Goldsoro and the late Hilda and Borden Howell.
Megan Phillips was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Melissa Beasley, Hannah Daughtry, Megan McLamb, Julia Melcher and Kalin Moore.
Frank Howell served as best man.
Groomsmen were Taylor Allen, Bradley Hill, Chris Pierce, Dustin Sittig and Rex Threewitts. Honorary groomsman was the late Jonathan Peedin.
Ushers were Danny Beasley, Kyle Bunn, Matthew Godwin, Travis Lamm, Dustin Pate and Matt Phillips.
Katelynn Phillips and Coralynn Beasley were flower girls. Braxton Hill was ringbearer.
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Williams directed the wedding.
Presiding at the register were LeAnne Howell and Linzy Howell.
Amber Oates and Natalie Tart distributed programs.
Everett Melcher played the guitar. Soloist was Natalie Tart.
A reception was hosted by the couple’s parents at Howell Farming Co. Inc Packing Line in Goldsboro.
Reception directors were Mrs. Syliva Giddens, Mrs. Vickie Howell and Mrs. Kathy Melcher.
