Williams-Latiolais
Brianna Iris Williams of Branch, La., and Colby Ryan Latiolais of Branch exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony April 5, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. at The Crossing at Mervine Kahn in Rayne, La., with pastor Terrel Reed officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Tony Lane Williams and Melanie Bruce Williams of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Johnny Robert Williams of Rocky Mount, the late Angerlane Whitfield Williams and Walter Richard Bruce Jr. and Carla Davis Bruce of Goldsboro.
Brianna graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science degree in sustainable agriculture/animal science. She is employed as a veterinarian assistant at Whittington Veterinary Clinic.
The groom is the son of Sheryl Albert Latiolais and the late Shavawn Theresa Billeaud Latiolais of Rayne, La., and the grandson of the late Willie Albert and Edna Mae Latiolais of Carencro, La., and the late Leon Billeaud Jr. and Justine Billeaud of Carencro.
Colby was a senior airman in the United States Air Force at Seymour Johsnon Air Force Base, and is now working as a compressor mechanic at Reagan Power and Compression.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a Casablanca beaded lace applique on point d’espirit over luxe satin gown. The beaded lace was accented with Swarovski crystals, pearls, beads and sequins. The gown had a sweetheart neckline, and was champagne. She wore a single-tiered, fingertip-length veil trimmed in lace.
Laura Guichard was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Jasmine Latiolais of Rayne, sister of the groom; Brittany Williams of Goldsboro, sister-in-law of the bride; Holly Carlson of Scott, La., friend of the couple; Rachel Varga of Boulder, Colo., friend of the couple; and Katy Bliss of Goldsboro, friend of the couple.
Honorary bridesmaid was Chrissy Williams of London, sister-in-law of the bride.
Casey Latiolais served as best man.
Groomsmen were Chris Latiolais of Pensacola, Fla., brother of the groom; Zach Williams of Goldsboro, brother of the bride; Ryan Williams of London, England, brother of the bride; Stuart Carlson of Scott, La., friend of the couple; Ryan Decell of Scott, La., friend of the couple; and Dustin Arsement of Lafayette, La., friend of the couple.
The usher was Damon Shore of Topeka, Kan., friend of the groom.
Owen, Ace and Parker Abshire, cousins of the groom, were ringbearers. Miniature ringbearers were Tucker Latiolais, son of the couple, Eli Williams, nephew, and Evan Carlson, friend.
Casie Webb directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Kayle Ventress.
The scripture reader was Hannah Fischman.
A program of wedding music was provided by Alex Smith.
A reception was held after the wedding at The Crossing at Mervine Kahn.
After a wedding trip to The Sanctuary cap Cana in the Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Branch.
A rehearsal dinner was held at the Frog City Cafe at Chef Roy’s in Rayne, La.
Events held before the wedding included an engagement party that was given by the maid of honor and her parents in Louisiana; a bridal shower that was given by her friends and family in Goldsboro; a couple’s shower that was given by her family and the wedding party in Louisiana; a lingerie shower that was given by Brianna’s sister-in-law, Brittany Williams, in Goldsboro; a bachelorette weekend that was celebrated in New Orleans, La.; and a bachelor weekend in Fort Worth, Texas.
