Margaret Blenner Gable and Thomas Walton Eller of Raleigh exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Aug. 10, 2013, at half after five o’clock at Saint Paul United Methodist Church in Goldsboro. The Rev. Madison Hankal officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Harold Gable of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. James Henry Dwyer of Richmond, Va., the late Phillip Blenner May and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Orville Gable of Goldsboro.

She graduated from Wayne Country Day School and North Carolina State University. She received a bachelor of nursing degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was presented at the Terpsichorean Club’s 2003 North Carolina Debutante Ball. She is employed as a labor and delivery nurse with Rex Healthcare, and currently pursuing her masters in nursing at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Latham Eller of Raleigh. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Welborn Jr. of Archdale, N.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Issac Milton Eller of North Wilksboro, N.C.

He graduated from Ravenscroft School in Raleigh and North Carolina State University.

Presented in marriage by her parents, the bride was escorted by her father.

She wore an off-white French Alencon lace gown with a fitted bodice. Her waistline was accentuated with a white satin ribbon adorned with a beaded broach. Her chapel-length French Alencon veil with scalloped lace edging complimented the elegance of her bridal gown.

The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet consisting of white roses, white miniature calla lilies and miniature green hydrangeas. Satin ribbon wrapped the stems accented with a heirloom handkerchief embroidered by the bride’s mother.

Laura Gable Capps, sister of the bride, and Kathleen Eller Fisher, sister of the groom, both of Raleigh, served as matrons of honor.

Thomas Latham Eller, father of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Chester Fisher Allen, Gregory Alan Capps, brother-in-law of the bride, Thomas Grantham Fisher Jr., brother-in-law of the groom, all of Raleigh and Robert Timberlake Newcomb IV of Charlotte.

Ringbearers were William Emerson Capps, nephew of the bride, Thomas Grantham Fisher III, James Parham Fisher and Taylor Crawford Fisher, nephews of the groom.

Harper Story Gwatney of Raleigh and Kathryn Gay Jefferys of Knoxville, Tenn., served as acolytes, and reading scripture was Erin Logan Tollison of Atlanta, Ga.

The greeters were Keely Jacobs Jackson of Raleigh, Jessica Eaton Goodman of Salisbury and Mary Page Walters Pierce of Ahoskie. Shelia Warrick directed the wedding.

Music was provided by Alice Campbell, organist; Joseph Brinson, trumpeter; and Woody McDonnell, vocalist.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at Goldsboro Country Club. Reception greeters were Mr. and Mrs. James Allen Vinson and Mr. and Mrs. George Anthony Worrell.

On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Chef and The Farmer Restaurant in Kinston. A wedding day brunch was held at Walnut Creek Country Club hosted by friends of both families.

Following a honeymoon trip to Antigua, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
