Devoy-Rainey
Carissa Tane Devoy and Jacob Nathanael Rainey exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 6, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Colorado Springs, Colo., with the Rev. John A. Rainey officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Tane Yingling of Colorado Springs, Colo., and the granddaughter of Joanna Yingling of York, Pa., Jeanne Touchard of Colorado Springs, Colo., and James and Sharon Devoy of Colorado Springs, Colo.
The groom is the son of John and Connie Rainey of Colorado Springs, Colo., and the grandson of James and Diana Rainey of Dunellon, Fla., and Frances Jackson and the late Faine Jackson of Goldsboro.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
The bride wore a strapless satin A-line gown with flutter detail and a sweeping train. She wore a crystal- and pearl-accented tiara and carried a bouquet of oriental lilies.
Nicole Silverberg served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kelsey Devoy, Faith Mickels, Raeleen Yingling and Kayleigh Yingling.
Jason Silverberg served as best man.
Groomsmen were Jordan Devoy, Richie Bailey, Brock Yingling and Kyle Yingling.
Ushers were Jonah Hollis and Aidan Hollis.
Adalyn Devoy was flower girl.
Luke Silverberg was ringbearer.
Pamela Benton directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Alexa Touchard. Taylor Touchard distributed programs.
Music was provided by Michael Pasahow.
A reception was hosted by the parents of the groom at Black Forest Community Club in Colorado Springs, Colo., assisted by Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Doucet, Mr. and Mrs. Jerrod Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Pasahow and Amy Hollis.
After a wedding trip to Puerta Vallarta, Mexico, the couple resides in Colorado Springs, Colo.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents in the fellowship hall of the church.
Events held before the wedding included a shower given by Amy Hollis, friend of the bride; and a shower hosted by friends of the bride at the home of Mrs. Connie Rainey.
