Libby-Martishius
Brittany Kaye Libby of Cape Carteret and Mitchell Levi Martishius of Leland were united in marriage Sept. 8 at the Octagon House in Cedar Point.
The bride is the daughter of Damon and Vanessa Libby of Cape Carteret.
Among the seven bridesmaids was Cortney Boswell, the bride’s cousin, of Nahunta. Her daughter, Mackenzie, was a flower girl.
The groom is the son of Jim and Cindy Martishius of Leland.
His brother, Zachary Martishius of Leland, was his best man.
Among the seven groomsmen was the bride’s brother, Tyler Libby of Cape Carteret.
Cameron Boswell of Nahunta served as the usher.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Daughtry of Goldsboro and Mrs. Deborah J. Libby and the late Senior Master Sgt. David S. Libby of Goldsboro.
The bride is a graduate of North Carolina State University. She is employed at HDR Engineering Inc.
The groom, also a North Carolina State graduate, is employed at EUE/Screen Gems Studios.
After a Jamaican honeymoon, the couple make their home in Raleigh.
