Sisson-Elmore
Emily and Jordan Elmore exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 6 at 4 p.m. at The Jewel of the Waterway in Swansboro.
The bride is the daughter of Ken Sisson of Harrisonburg, Va., and Katie Sisson of Harrisonburg and the granddaughter of Gene and Len Sisson, Marion Phillips and the late John Phillips.
She is from Harrisonburg, and graduated from Spotswood High in 2008 and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2012. She is employed as a teacher in Wayne County.
The groom is the son of Bill and Gail Elmore and the grandson of the late Jake and Neta Mae Elmore, William Darden and the late Patricia Darden.
He graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School in 2007 and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011. He is employed at Crop Production Services.
The bride was escorted by Ken Sisson, father.
Libby and Hannah Sisson were maids of honor.
Bridesmaids were Justine Kenney, Caroline McTier and Anna Swain.
Bill Elmore served as best man.
Groomsmen were Carson Sasser, Travis Milligan, Daniel Outlaw and Will Vinson.
Ushers were Austin Lewis, Dave Elmore, Trey Jarrels and Cody McDonald.
Ellie Casas was flower girl.
Presiding at the register were Gina Elmore and Abby Feuerherd.
Greeters were Mike Shelton and Terri Jo Oliver.
After a wedding cruise to the Caymen Islands and Jamaica, the couple resides in Faro.
