Eckenrod-Mullins
Alexandra Nicolle Eckenrod of Goldsboro and Jeffrey Michael Mullins of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 26, 2012, at 5 p.m. at Johnston County Agricultural Center in Smithfield, with Robert Wheeless officiating.
The bride is the daughter of David and Glenna Eckenrod of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Nancy Lenz and the late Leroy “Bud” Eckenrod of Ebensburg, Pa., Fred Mattingly of Covington, La., and Patsy Cumpton of Dallas, Texas.
The groom is the son of William of Fredericksburg, Va., and Mary Anne Mullins of Goldsboro and the grandson of William Jones of Gulf Breeze, Fla., Mary Lou Sutton of Tega Cay, S.C., and Joyce Mohler and the late Ray Mohler of Vinton, Va.
Lauren Yocum was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie Chrismon, Kate Ranke, Meredith Ward, Sarah Higgins and Sydney Yocum.
Stuart Harris served as best man. Groomsmen were Chris Mullins, Eric Eckenrod, Jason Steed, Bennett Jeffreys and Mike Stevens.
Josh and Jon Adkins were ringbearers.
Sue Harrison directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Rachel Byrne. Denise Bresee and Eric Eckenrod were vocalists.
The reception followed the ceremony at the Johnston County Agricultural Center in Smithfield.
Events held before the wedding included a lingerie shower hosted by the maid of honor in Goldsboro; a couple’s shower hosted by Glenna Eckenrod and Jennifer Adkins in Goldsboro; a bachelor party hosted by the groomsmen in Colonial Beach, Va.; a bachelorette party in Myrtle Beach, S.C., given by Jennifer Adkins and the bridesmaids; and a bridesmaids’ luncheon hosted by Jennifer Adkins, Tricia Tharpe and Donna Yocum.
