Hallie Ann Coleman of Clinton and Graham Harris Wilson of Chapel Hill exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 16, 2012, at 5 p.m. at Airlie Gardens in Wilmington, with Dr. Dennis Atwood officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Ronald William and Terry Miller Coleman of Raleigh (formerly of Goldsboro) and the granddaughter of Mary Frances Coleman Cantrell and the late William E. Coleman of Tulsa,Okla., and Jo Ann Miller and the late James F. Miller of Fayetteville, Ark.
Hallie graduated from Wayne Country Day School in 2003, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in exercise and sports science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010. She is employed as a physical therapist at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.
The groom is the son of Michael David and Melody Smith Wilson of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Braxton Audrey Wilson Sr. and the late Faith Price Wilson of Mount Olive and Nelda Kornegay Smith and the late William Harris Smith of Mount Olive.
Graham graduated from Spring Creek High School in 2004, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2008. He graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2012. Graham will begin his residency in July 2012 at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a champagne A-line gown with beaded schiffli overlay, a satin pleated sash and a semi-cathedral train.
She carried a bouquet of white and green hydrangeas, various shades of pink roses and peonies wrapped in ivory satin with pearl accents.
Sarah Coleman, the bride’s sister, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were friends of the bride, Kimberly Jutovsky of Austin, Texas, Shellie Hodge of Wilmington, Jennifer Yancey of Charlotte and Erin Laurie of Charlotte.
Michael David Wilson, the groom’s father, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Michael Cliff Wilson, brother of the groom, and friends of the groom, Michael Williams of Aurora, Matthew Brown of Kinston, Michael Murphy of Goldsboro and Daniel Murnane of Kernersville.
Olivia Luckinbill, cousin of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid.
Travis Luckinbill, cousin of the bride, was the junior groomsman.
Madison Luckinbill, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.
Jackson Cortright, cousin of the bride, was ringbearer.
Jeff Bryant directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Robin Peacock of Sleepy Creek, friend of the bride.
The reception was held at Airlie Gardens in Wilmington. Entertainment was provided by the Hip Pocket band.
After a wedding trip to Bald Head Island, S.C., the couple will reside in Richmond, Va.
The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the groom at Holiday Inn Resort in Wrightsville Beach.
Events held before the wedding included a shower in Raleigh given by the parents of the bridal couple and a bridesmaids’ luncheon at Brasserie du Soleil in Wilmington hosted by Mrs. Nelda Smith, Mrs. Caroline Phillips, Mrs. Cindy Parker, Mrs. Lesley Richardson and Mrs. Elizabeth Carroll.
