Benear-Garris
Veronica Lynn Benear of Raleigh and Donell Garris III exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Jan. 14, 2012, at 4:30 p.m. at Lane Tree Golf Club, with the Rev. Jerry Mitchell officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Ronald D. and Ruth Benear of Douglasville, Ga., and the granddaughter of the late Raymond D. and Edna Benear of Brighton, Mich., and the late Fred Russell and Zola Cavins of Cincinnati, Ohio.
The groom is the son of Don Garris Jr. and Karen Allen Garris of LaGrange and the grandson of the late Donell Garris Sr. and Mary Williams Garris of Goldsboro and Kathleen Allen and the late David Earl Allen of Aurora.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Stephanie Stearley and Robin Nunley served as matrons of honor.
Bridesmaids were Maryanne Garris and Callie Cordray.
Don Garris Jr. served as best man.
Groomsmen were Jason Lewis, Michael Hooks Jr. and David Allen Jr.
Cathie Hooks directed the wedding.
A program of wedding music was provided by Jason Cox, pianist; Bill and Dara Bass, vocalists; and Thomas Vick.
A reception was held at Lane Tree Golf Club.
